Dick Gautier the voice of Serpentor and Rodimus Prime at 2013 Collectible Expo

GI JOE serpentorWe are honored to welcome voice actor Dick Gautier as a guest at the 2013 Canadian Collectible Toy Expo for his first ever Canadian convention appearance.

The voice of Rodimus Prime and Hot Rod in the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon; he is known to GIJOE fans as the voice of Serpentor. Mr. Gautier will be taking part in a Q&A panel and autograph session with the attendees at the July 28th event.

Voice Director Wally Burr to attend 2012 Collectible Toy Expo

Our final guest announcement has been revealed: Wally Burr the man that cast Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime, Frank Welker as Megatron and directed the original Transformers Generation 1 cartoon and the 1986 animated movie.  He voice directed several other cartoons during the 1980s, such as G.I. Joe, Inspector Gadget, Spider-Man and some voices he has done include The Atom on Superfriends, Emmett Benton on Jem and the Holograms

Voice Actor Neil Ross to attend the 2012 Canadian Collectible Toy Expo

We are very pleased to welcome voice actor Neil Ross to the 2012 Canadian Collectible Toy Expo as apart of his first ever Canadian convention appearance.  He has voiced several characters in many cartoons,  including G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero where he was Shipwreck, Dusty, Buzzer and Monkeywrench; in addition to the Transformers Generation 1 series where he played Bonecrusher, Hook, Sixshot, Slag and Springer; plus the series Voltron where he voiced the characters Keith and Pidge.  Mr. Ross will be taking part in a Q&A panel and autograph session with the attendees.

Comic Writer Bob Budiansky to attend the 2012 Canadian Collectible Toy Expo

Bob Budiansky is a comic book writer and editor whose name is synonymous with Transformers fiction.  Mr. Budiansky is responsible for much of the writing of the original Marvel Transformers comic, and conceived the names of most of the original Transformers including Megatron. He also wrote the vast majority of the descriptive tech spec biographies printed on the Transformers toy packages that Hasbro produced in the 1980s, giving each character it’s own unique personality. Aside from Transformers, Budiansky has worked on various Marvel comicbook properties including The Avengers, Spider-man, and Ghost Rider.  Mr. Budiansky will be taking part in question and answer panels, and autograph and photograph sessions in his first ever Canadian convention appearance.
